Text A ceremony to send off a deity or deities after the completion of a religious rite to which they have been summoned. The procedure is the same as for kamimukae: the chief priest recites a formula to send off the deity, the deity's departure is heralded by the intonation of vocal sounds (keihitsu), and koto music is played.
